Fantastic practical book about multiple intelligences
Kinesthetic intelligence and spatial intelligence are two of the eight "multiple intelligences" identified by Howard Gardner. Many other authors have written on this topic. One of the best is this book
How Am I Smart? by Kathy Koch
by an experienced educator who knows the multiple intelligences from years of experience with real students.

If you can do a Rubik's cube you have spatial intelligence
If you can solve a Rubik's cube then without question you have high spatial intelligence, unless you get incredibly lucky.
Having said that, not everybody with spatial intel can solve a Rubik's cube. I can't, not even close.
